Covering coverville

I also think we should cover the coverville theme song. I know it's already a cover, but what the heck, it'd be fun anyway.

Everyone's favorite closet wonderband athousandtimesno has recently been asked to compose, perform & record the music for an album of web2.0-related songs to be written by our pal, Rob Cottingham.
(Special note to Evan: Rob asked if we want to compose, perform & record the music for an album of web2.0-related songs he wants to write. Whaddya think?)
Obviously, we're in. (Special note to Evan: we're ...

Long Hard Rush

The Intro song for the movie 'Made in Secret' Evan tells the story of how he made the song 'Long Hard Rush': The EVPC were working on their movie 'Made In Secret' and had just shot the footage of the bike ride from Hugh's house to Ghosty House (check out the movie if you don't know what I'm talking about). aaron and Todd needed a song to edit the footage to because they needed to show a final version to the group. They were originally going to use 'I&#3 ...

Bus Stop

This song, originally named 'Perfect Stranger', was written for the movie 'Made in Secret' Evan tells the story of how he made 'Bus Stop': Again the EVPC came to me with a request for songs. "We're shooting a scene, it's a party, and we need background music that makes it sound like a party. We can't use copy-written material because we don't want to pay for it.

Why no new songs?

I've received a number of emails asking why there have been no new songs recently. One reason is the I am moving at the end of August and I have been spending exorbitant amounts of time packing, cleaning, and slacking off. The other, and probably more significant, reason is that Aaron is having his brain replaced with a fishtank for his upcoming debut as a Wondering Minstrel in the Isaac Asimov production of 'Cats'.
The new site

Well, I'm proud to say that I'm ashamed to say that after 23 weeks 1 day the website is finally sort of good enough to be pretty okay enough to show people. So, feast your eyes! Have a look around! And when you find the broken things, think of them as tiny secret treasures that nobody wants to hear about.
Huzzah! What the heck took so long? It's definitely me. I'm not lazy. I worked so hard on it. Still, it took forever. And ever. And ever. (Well, I& ...

Podcasts reach a thousand times no

Podcasts eh?
We like this idea. Making your own radio broadcast without all that fancy equipment like broadcasting towers. You just need this fancy equipment, like computers, which we have.
We set out on the weekend to make a podcast of our own. Unfortunately the conversation we had about podcasting would have been an amazing podcast. We have already decided that most of our best music is being lost because we always forget to turn on the mics before we start playing. We are ...

What\'s going on here?

One may wonder why athousandtimesno dot com has looked the same for so long. We have been working on a massive update for our site and these things take time. I don't mean 'we're working on it' to mean 'we'll get around to it eventually?; I mean we have been pouring hours and hours into getting this thing ready.
We have been experimenting with different ways of managing our content to make our site a useful tool for us and, at the same time, provide useful and interesting information ...
