Heaps of live music!

I just uploaded a bunch of Live music to Opus. I can't wait to mix this in to the already incredible music here on Opus. I know David has been uploading lots of Live stuff as well.
A performer of epic proportions. Stevie Wonder.

I have been listening to lots of Stevie Wonder lately and I found this video of him performing live in 1969. I gotta say you can have all the lights, fireworks and explosions you want to try and make your show entertaining, but what it really comes down to is the pure feeling of music that exudes from your soul.

Stevie Wonder doesn't just perform music, he is music... and you tell in this video.

Configuring your Opus home page is fuhn!

Just been playing around with the editable Opus home page functionality, its good times. You can pretty much do anything graphically you want now and really make your page the way you want. Think of the possibilities for bands, they could totally style their home page with the band colours and photos etc. I'm really excited to see what people create.

Anyways, if anyone has questions on how to write some of the HTML/CSS just fire me off a private message or reply to this blog post.

Went to The Media Club last night to go watch my friends The Guy Wilkins Band play, ended up being a great show with many many talented people playing into the wee hours. Got a chance to see Heidi McCurdy and Nick Ogawa play.

Open Mic seems like a very good thing

Went out to watch some open mic last night. My friends band wanted to play some tunes, so I joined them. It seems like open mic is a great way for new artist/bands to make some great contacts. There wasn't many people there but they met a producer who was very interested in their music and told them to come by the studio. They have also been approached by other people whenever they preform at open mic nights. We also spoke with all the artist there and got a bunch of names for them to jam with.

Got my new iPod!

Sweet, sweet iPod I love you so. I finally decided to get a new iPod (I had the old 5gig 1G) and I gotta say I am very glad I did. I got the 60gig 5G in black. I am now listening to music like crazy again and trying to fill that little sucker up with tunes, photos, TV shows, movies and music videos - maybe a future Project Opus feature?
