Next year will be a busy one for us; a new album and plenty of gigs.... we might even fit in a tour or two.If you're in Melbourne over summer, we'll be doing a free show at the Espy with The Gabriel Lynch Band on Thursday 15th of January. We'll also be playing down the coast in Rye on the 3rd of Jan at Baha, and on the foreshore on Australia Day afternoon ... a nice way to spend summer. And if that's not enough, we're also partaking i ...

Hey there ...Sorry we've been so quiet of late, but we've been holed up listening to new tunes in sound-proofed rooms while staring at wave files on computer screens and voicing musical opinions loudly. Yes, the new album is very close to complete - and this is a guarantee because the mastering date is confirmed for the first week of December. Just in time for an early Christmas present - we promise that it will only be a matter of hours after this audio icing is applied to our musical cake befo ...

Allo there,It occurred to us to mention that for those of you that prefer facebook we have a kinematic group. We are not party to any cyber class wars, so you are likely to find out as much here as you will there, but if you, like many, are using facebook more regualry while saving myspace for more musical and/or flippant pursuits, you can drop us a line anytime on by joining the group. There is also an actual kinematic page on facebook, which sort of materialised via iLike via GarageBand .. ...

'allo All,Finally - the video for Carnivale. Even though we launched it nearly a month ago, it's taken us awhile to get it up. Blip is a nice little app that makes it easy to embed - so if you like what you see and hear, click the embed/email button close to the bottom left hand side of the player, put it on your profile and/or distribute it widely (pretty please).

Hey All,
Sorry we've been so quiet of late, but there's been lots going on behind the scenes in Kinematic land:
1. We've been making a video for Carnivale, produced and directed by the super-talented Roz Di Sisto, who has worked with The Vedettes and Diafrix, among others. The vid promises be a cut well above anything we've done before (in that involves a real crew, equipment etc, as opposed to one of us attempting to film and edit it). If all goes to plan, you'll be seei ...

Hey All,
A slight schedule change means we are playing a little later at the World AIDS Day Concert than originally advised.
We're now playing at 5.30pm, after Josh Owen. However, if you've made no other plans, we still recommend turning up at 4.00pm to see Whitley, because he's very very good (if you don't believe us, check out www.myspace.com/whitleymusic). Besides, there's artists playing from 12.30pm onwards so why not make a day of it?
