It's so exciting when things start to come together.

Here's an update: Things have been going well with the release of the new album - it has been sent to a number of radio stations including college ones across Canada, and it has so far been getting played on Galaxie. Another TV show is considering using some tunes (cross your fingers for me!), and I got a couple of reviews in the Province. The CD launch last week went great too. I feel really encouraged and excited, like my efforts are starting to come to fruition...

My Monday appearance at the Media Club has unfortunately been rescheduled. They had to can the open mic that night for a private party. But I will be there on January 16th with the funky house band doing a few tunes, and Catherine Bensley will be singing harmonies. Maybe we'll see ya there....

I have a new CD coming out soon too! It's called Fickle Mind, and should be ready around Dec. 16th.

What a fun word - blog.

This is my first blog ever in my whole life. It's probably the second time I've ever even said the word 'blog', and the first time I've written it. Bllloooog. Ahhh, what a moment.

Tomorrow I'm going to do some improv singing for a retreat centre in Vancouver. Monday (October 24) I'll be doing a short improvised performance with Laurel Murphy and Kathryn Ricketts Dance Company at the Roundhouse (7:00 I think?). It should be interesting! After that, I may make an appearance at the Media Club for their Open Mic. I hear it's great and have been wanting to go for a long time.
