I don’t ask for autographs; I never have before. I’m -really- shy about being a groupie, but given the opportunity to meet Andy Moor, creator of my favourite trance anthem of 2009, shyness wasn’t even a thought. Neither was politeness apparently, having chased him out of the DJ booth. (So sorry on that.)

It’s always nice to revisit people you’ve missed. While some never change, a few are bound to go rock star - like Andrew. Kudos to Andrew and the rest of the band from ???Sex for a killer set. Definitely not my scene, but that didn’t stop me from having a blast. If you’re down for some Japanese, head-banging goodness, make sure to look them up on Facebook for all of their upcoming shows.
My neck hurts just looking at these photos.

Last Saturday, May 30th, I joined the lineup alongside the crew from Pyrokinetyx for a night of trance, house, electro, dubstep, and drum and bass at Industry Nightclub’s third-year anniversary party out in Chilliwack.
Mad props to Transitory, DJ Kidd Zenn, TremL, and Waxkilla for some of the hottest mixing I’ve heard from local talent in a long time. One hell of a gong show, gentlemen. One hell of a gong show.
