The Remedials are a three-piece punk band from Vancouver, BC formed in 2004. The band consists of Gabriel Gill (Guitar/Vocals), Wayne Degerness (Bass/Vocals) and Lionel Cloutier (Drums/Vocals).
Combining Johnny Ramone down stroke guitar, Rancid-like bass lines and Dave Grohl hard-hitting drums, The Remedials music is best described as “fun old school punk”. With clever and witty lyrics from two distinct songwriting styles, Gabe’s “Paranormal Punk” and Wayne’s “Street-Core” complete the quick anthems. Add a kinetic live show and The Remedials have made a name for themselves in Vancouver's punk rock community.
So far, The Remedials have released two studio albums, two live albums, one DVD and have had songs featured on multiple punk compilation CDs, radio and podcasts.
