| Biography: | The Iacoponi Experience are a catchy three piece alternative indie rock band from Berkhamsted, near London, UK. Band members include: Andy Kirk on vocals and guitar, Martin Iacoponi on bass guitar, and Elliot Ledger on drums. The band all met in 2000 at the age of 10 as members of the same prep school, but didn't form as a band until late 2005 when Elliot finally got a drum kit as a christmas present. The problem of a band name came about before there first gig in early March 2006, a school talent show. Ideas flew about and 'The Iacoponi Experience', was suggested initially as a joke, due to the high popularity which Martin Iacoponi (our bassist) had with the opposite sex, all of them seeming to want the same thing, 'The Iacoponi Experience'. The other two band members thought this was very funny, so then confirmed this name with the teacher in charge before actually conferring with Martin, who, needless to say, had absolutely no say in the matter; the name was just intended for this one school show anyway... However, the name never changed. After the first gig we were 'on the map', people knew who we were, 'The Iacoponi Experience' was born. But it was not until the following year that things began to pick up a bit of momentum. Many songs were written in surges of creativeness, "I'll Be There" finding its way as our first hit with the public. In March 2007, The Iacoponi Experience performed this as their first single at The Talent Show, but then things took a turn for the worst. The band could never seem to agree a time to practice, and as a result, the song writing stopped, we were drying up. (But, we did get away with secretly stealing some bottles of wine at a party, playing drinking games in another room, and not being disturbed as people thought we were having 'band issues'. When they cottoned on, the third bottle was being finished...) However, strong friendship pulled us through these hard days, and in December 2007 we released our first CD, 'The Iacoponi Experience - EP', a 6 track EP including the hit single "I'll Be There", and the slower moving "Those Times", as well as a live version of "I'll Be There" from The Talent Show 2007. This kick started the creationism in the band once again, with a fresh batch of new songs on its way. March 2008 saw the band headline The Talent Show 2008 with their upcoming, second single "Everyoung", as well as a heart-stopping performance by an expanded band playing "Smooth" by Santana, with Elliot moving to lead guitar; also a substitute drummer, backing vocals, piano, and two trumpets were all involved. This can be viewed here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QdCx9Lj6a0I For the summer of 2008, the band have now employed an 'open release', meaning that they are going record songs as they are written, and to release songs as they are recorded. Having heard the first single "Everyoung" at The Talent Show, expectation could not be higher. Let's hope it does not disappoint... |

| Biography: | Dead Rock West
Tour Dates **Stay tuned for more tour updates to be announced soon… The best music tends to hit a listener from seemingly out of nowhere, fully formed and ready to infiltrate the psyche. Of course even the newest discovery has paid their dues somewhere, which means there are often real treasures right under our very noses. So it is with Dead Rock West. With a name like Dead Rock West, you would be correct in assuming there are occasional country and folk influences, but really, that’s just skimming the surface of the bands capabilities which span Country Music, Americana, and Roots Rock sounds to give you that music that keeps you dancing and singing along. Dashes of garage, power pop jangle, and rock n roll populate the set list, played with passion to match the tight song craft and perfectly blended vocal harmonies provided by the band’s founders, Cindy Wasserman and Frank Drennen. Their voices are a seamless mix that adds melody to already impressive hooks, like icing on an already pretty tasty cake. Dead Rock West the group is really a culmination of years of work in Southern California nightspots. Drennen spent time playing the acoustic clubs in San Diego, teaming up in with former Alarm guitarist Dave Sharp and forming pop group Loam shortly thereafter. They would go on to release two albums in the U.S. and Spain, and win a San Diego Music Award in the process for their song “Telephone” - later recast by Dead Rock West as an amphetamine fueled Byrds flavored rock number. For her part, Wasserman is no stranger to either stage or studio. Most recently she has toured and recorded with Grant Lee Phillips, John Doe, and Mark Olson. In fact, all the members have extensive touring backgrounds. Bassist David J.Carpenter has toured and recorded with Toni Childs as well as John Doe and Phillips. Drummer Bryan Head does double duty with his band Abandoned Pools, and has toured with Shelby Lynne. Most impressively, pianist Phil Parlapiano was previously in Geffen Records act The Brothers Figaro and has performed with Grant Lee Buffalo, Tracy Chapman, Lucinda Williams, Rod Stewart and Social Distortion, amongst many others. All that experience is used to great effect on Dead Rock West’s debut album on the Populuxe label, Honey & Salt. Recorded at Grandmas Warehouse in Echo Park, the disc was recorded in tribute to older recording methods using a 2" tape, 24 tracks, and no click tracks or pitch correction machines. In addition to the members of Dead Rock West, the genesis of the album involves a few other key players. The Section Quartet (Sam Phillips, etc.) provide strings and pedal steel player Greg Leisz also contributes, with the album mixed by Grammy winner Richard Dodd (Tom Petty, George Harrison, Steve Earle, Traveling Wilburys etc.). “Basically I contacted Richard Dodd via his web site,” Drennen recalls. “I told him about ourselves, that we were recording to tape and I asked if he ever mixed any one who was not rich or famous. To my surprise Dodd responded saying he was interested in hearing our works in progress. Nervously, I sent him the songs. We weren’t even finished overdubbing at this point. After a couple of long phone conversations, I was convinced that this man was in love with music and wanted to be a part of projects he can be proud to put his name on. Needless to say we ended up in Nashville and spent six wonderful days hearing our songs come alive and listening to his stories.” The end result are the Honey & Salt tracks, as catchy and varied a collection of songs as you’re likely to come across. Whether it’s Wasserman or Drennen taking the lead, Dead Rock West’s way with a melody cannot be denied. |

He picked up playing the guitar when he was fourteen and has been amazing audiences with his talents ever since. He began writing and recording in the mid-1990s, and has been a non-stop blur until the current day! His songs and style are inspired by artists like Nickelback, Creed, Good Charlotte, Green Day, Evanescence, Maroon 5, Nightwish, Van Halen, Asia, Boston, Def Leppard, Dream Theatre, Edenbridge, ELP, Judas Priest, King Crimson, Led Zeppelin, Rush, Yes, and ZZ Top. Michael was fatally infected with FM radio that was playing constantly throughout his childhood, in the house and in the car, along with a scattering of Beach Boys 45s that he inherited from his Mother. He began playing guitar and writing songs around 14 years of age. Magazines, posters, CDs, cassettes and records were constantly scattered throughout his room, and a dream is born. Picture him sitting alone in a room playing and singing into a cassette recorder. Then, he was involved in a seemingly endless string of bands, where he cut his teeth and his unique style was germinated. Then, he moved to California in the mid-90s, following his heart and career. Over the next 15 years or so, he played and recorded with a chain of club rock bands, as well as many solo performances and recordings. Currently writing a book of poetry, based on existentialism and romantic meanderings, with a working title of “Better Late than Never.” "Trinity" will be pre-released at the first stadium concert of the 2007 "Holy Avenger" tour on August 25th , 2007 at the "Summerfaire '07 World Peace Concert" at The Orange Show Stadium in San Bernardino, California, along with a half dozen Midwest dates in mid August! “Trinity’s” official release will be in November 2007. The full-length CD, "Holy Avenger" will see its official release on Valentine’s Day 2008, where it will be available at iTunes, eMusic, CD Baby and select retail stores around the world, along with every date and venue associated with the world tour to support this ground-breaking release! | Biography: | y name is Louis Comeau. I was born in Elliot Lake, Ontario, Canada. I then moved to Timmins, Ontario, where I spent most of my childhood. The next move was to Barrie, Ontario where I spent a few years only to move again, this time to Prescott, Ontario. This is where I went to highschool. After an unfulfilling high school experience I decided to go to Summit College. Going to Bible college was the greatest experience of my life. After college I went to China with two of my best friends, Adam & Kevin, and I taught English to kids for a whole year. A year passed and I made the decision to return to Canada. I worked a few jobs and then ended up at a Christian camp. I'm now a graphic designer, program coordinator, sound technician, and webmaster for Camp des Bouleaux. I'm also the co-coordinator and marketing director for the Bouleaux Snowpark, which is now approaching its second season. Music has been a very important part of my life for many years. My first introduction was piano lessons at a young age. I later played the trumpet followed by bass guitar in the school band. I began playing guitar in high school, focusing primarily on the electric guitar. When I started college I began to fall in love with the acoustic guitar. I've been writing songs now and then for the past couple years, and this year I finally started recording and polishing up my songs. My music expresses the feelings I experience in my journey through this life. I hope you enjoy my work which has only been possible because of the gifts God has given me. |

| Biography: | RECENT 2006 STUFF@NIGHT, BOSTON INTERVIEW! http://www.stuffatnight.com/rd0405/partying/documents/05211973.asp DJ Dale Charles started DJ'ing around 1983 at some infamous Summer Beach House parties, playing mostly New Wave including B-52's, The Romantics, Elvis Costello, Rockpile, Buzzcocks, The Beat, The Pretenders, 999, Depeche Mode, The Go-gos and Prince. New Wave was it, a funner, fresh new scene and lifestyle had emerged, the birth era of synth-dance and the 12" remix single. Connected by fate to the few important New England DJ's including Ed Fritz and Kevin Fennelly, Charles' interests grew stronger as the music grew more interesting. DJ Ed Fritz' "Baptism" and its parties in 1986-88 introduced Dale to the European and US' Techno, Industrial and House scenes. Kevin Fennellys excellent Summer Of 86 club "Level Vibes" also paved the way and inspired those who were lucky to be there. But it was DJ Ed Fritz who schools all in attendance how to mix three different styles of music on three turntables (SL-1800's) at the same tempo at the same time. This was essentially the definition of "House Music", before it was so called - and the Baptism had taken place. DJ Dale Charles was formally reborn. Then in 1987, seeing it all in action again in Montreal at Club "Business" on St Laurent changed everything. This was it. The calling was about to be answered. The East Coast residencies began in 1988 - in the small New England towns, on off nights, at first Decadence in Dover, NH, then Zoots Thursdays with Portland Maines Kris Clark. Then south to Bostons Hub Club in 1990-91, now club Felt, for a huge 1000 capacity International Night on Fridays. On to a big move way out west in the fall of 1991 to San Diego, and the birth of the legendary SoCal and US Rave movement, at first pure in all its forms, joining music lovers together to experience exciting new music, advances in lighting technology, fine-tuned sound systems, and an uninhibited gathering of all races, religions, thinkers and do-ers, perhaps not experienced since the late 60's. It was a cultural phenomenon, a time to meet new people and stay up all hours and experience new music and expressions. DJ Dale Charles was a leading SoCal DJ in 1991-92, headlining most major events with residencies at the famous MicroRaves, Narnia, Opium, Playskool, Rubber, Evar, G.U.N. and countless other one-offs. News of west coast Raves and its DJ's spread quickly across the US and Dale Charles started booking nationally, then to Mexico, Canada, Asia (sadly cancelled) and nearly every major US destination. Producing several releases since 1992 as Sedona with Benny Blanco on OHM Records, Boston, and Rampant records LA, Dale Charles has maintained a MIDI synth studio since the late 80's, producing today under the names Too (Element Recordings), Sedona and Time Beings on both Syncopate and most recently Reversible Records. DJ Dale Charles has DJ'ed with and has DEEP RESPECT for: Evar SD, Wicked SF, Primary UK, Benny Blanco, 333, Mgee, Gatherings SF, Sasha, John Digweed, Frankie Knuckles, Danny Howells, Derrick Carter, Moby, Tiga, Luc Raymond, Micheal Thomas, Tony, Paul Grogan, Barry Weaver, David Morales, Josh Wink, Anne Savage, Luv Dup, Doc Martin, Scott Hardkiss, Dominic UK, Marcus Wyatt, Dmitri from Dee-lite, Lil Louis, Frankie Bones, Adam X, Justin Johnson, Debo, Jellybean Benitez, Mark Farina, Pete Moss, Fred "kooky" Gianelli, Hector Romero, Jimmy Van M, Tin Tin, Taul Paul, Carl Cox, Rick Preston, Daeman, Mark E Quark, Jon Bishop, Thin e thin UK, Q-Bert, De La Soul, Primal Scream, Jonas Temple, Hipp-e, Armand Van Helden, Jeno, Garth, Marky, Joeski, Onionz, Ryde, Chocolate Factory NY, Felix Da Housecat, Brother Cleve, DJ Dan, Kevin Saunderson, LTJ Bukem, DJ Trixie, Misstress"... wanna come to my room and for some Kokanee...?" Barbara, Overload, Chicken Leg Crew, Caseroc, Shalako, Scott Bliss, Skye, Larry Love, Manolo, Pauloo, Deshaies, Sergio, Arturo, Mike Walsh, Pat Fontes, EB, dPl, Eli Wilkie, Steve Porter, Chris Reavey, Chris Micali, Hush & Bons, Paul Dailey, Charles Feelgood, Donald Glaude, Prima DJ and more. Currently projects include a full Time Beings Concept LP, Sound Design, Film and Advertising scoring, along with a lifetime ahead of music production. |
