I started playing the darbuka in college in the mid-1980's, but set it aside for "real life." Now, I have taken it up again. I am still at a beginning level and am starting to make some recordings.

In the late 70's, I was a member of a Myrtle Beach Christian rock band called Naphtali. I have brought back the name for the sake of nostalgia in the form of Naphtali Percussion.

I would be willing to perform at any local religious or community theater type of event that could be enhanced by authentic middle eastern sounds. I can be contacted through this website.
