this track seems to gel better as song and songwriter, and songstress are snug within the sphere of her influences. With the simple piano accompaniment that takes care of the first verse stays prominent throughout I hear plenty of Veda Hille and Tori Amos, piano/vocal leadership. And in the vocal performance there is no disconnect this time with a RAWK band behind her (this kind of sunk her track "two weeks" for me) but a nice, intimate feel that works nicely with the inncocent that shares plenty with joni mitchell and other leading Canadians influences such as Veda Hille, and Sarah Harmer too. You are well accompanied on this one indeed, Miriam. Things click!
