Song Description
one of the shortest and stupidist songs in Zorx's repertoire, (yes that is a bold claim) this little tour through somebody's parade ground nightmare is frankly fraught with copyright issues we chose and choose to ignore.
-The text is adapted from some chunk or other from Monty Python... (ask Mr Aubergine who takes the lead vocal on this one)... It also contains tiny snippets from Prokofiev's PETER AND THE WOLF, and a very very stupid variation of a traditional folk song/grace "Johnny Appleseed". Both these latter tidbits are debatably public domain, but that's a whole hairy ball of wax as can be seen by recent discussion thread the Zorx started, on the procedures for uploading cover tunes. http://www.projectopus.com/node/19881#comment-3458.
What to do about licensing this one is a can and a half of worms. We selected a cc license non-commericial, with attribution, which means we're giving it away and people can do what they like with as long as they tell everyone it's our track in there in the mash-up, and don't make (let's face it--more than 1 or 2 buckets of) money with/on/off it.
Yeah we had to claim copyright ownership to get that liscense. So we did.
We challenge the "community" to declare us thieves, bastards, and rapscallions. We love name-calling.
Shall we be flagged infringers?
