Hey y'all, sorry I've been slow to respond.

Howdy,
I've not taken the time to respond to anyone's posts 'cause I've been totally wrapped up in finishing my CD. I finished the final recording and mixdown of everything today, so "all" that remains is the mastering (to be done on 5/2) and then the packaging (artwork/graphics, printing, jewelcasing, shrinkwrapping. Anyhow, here's hoping hi catch up with all the comments right now:
Stewie - Howdy. I don't know why these folks are writing nice things about me - maybe they're just really kind? Friendly? Lonely? Wacky? Seriously, you haven't heard about me because I've been keeping a low profile here in Austin until the last 6 - 12 months. I've got a CD in the can and it's getting mastered on 5/2. I'll put tracks on my website or here eventaully - I just don't want to post the unmastered tracks - you guys deserve the best! In the meanwhile, if you go to www.joegee.com and click on the "Sonicbids" icon you can get to my EPK and there's several tracks from a demo of mine that you can listen to, just to give you an idea of what I sound like.
Stephen - Austin's live music scene is still quite vibrant even when SWSX is not occurring. This weekend, for instance, is the Old Settler's Festival, a bluegrass and Americana Fest with great national and regional acts and great camping and jamming - hopefully someday I can get in the lineup! Of course folks like Jon Dee Graham, James McMurtry et. al. have regular gigs in town every week, and many of the better-known austin area acts (Ray Wylie Hubbard, Gurf Morlix, Hayes Carll etc.) play here quite a lot.
Brenda - Hey!
Alfie - I'll be at Aylmer or Cobalt (I'm on the bill - woo-hoo); I hope to run into you!
Opus-folks - re: the genre categories - it's all good!
Denice - I remember you from Gruene - howdy! - I don't know about Roger being on project opus but Fred is - he just added the tracks from his new CD (Milly's Cafe) on his Blogspot!
