Latest Tripping West update

Hello everyone, it's been a while since we've posted any news regarding the band, so here's an update. During the summer, Not Today reached #1 on CashBox magazines all Indie picks chart. The song hung on to the #1 spot for 3 weeks and was in the top 10 for 10 weeks.
We've also been working on some new material with Producer Vic Levak over at Hush studios. The new material is a little edgier and the production is stellar. The two new songs are called Turn Off Your Mind and Hurt Like I Do. We should be posting these new tunes, as well as re recorded versions of Not Today and Scene From Our Lives, within the next few weeks.. so keep your eyes and ears peeled for these new tunes.
In terms of live performances, we recently returned from Montreal after having played a sold out show at Le Petit Medley. A big thank you goes out to everyone who came out to see the show, you guys rock. As for our Vancouver following, don't despair, as we will be hitting the Roxy stage on Tuesday October 23rd as part of CFOX's Canadian Content Concert Series. We will be opening up for REDCELL, check out their music at www.myspace.com/redcellmusic.
Also, a quick word to let everyone know that our CD, Scenes From Our Lives, is now available at Zulu Records. Furthermore, we are currently sitting in 9th place in the Bodog battle of the bands.
