That sounds great Dasha. You're demnstrating how independents can make it work. Awesome. Maybe you can help out the rest of the community, without going into details maybe you can offer some generalizations on how you landed the sponsorship and how it is helping your career?

I think that it is good to seek support from companies that align with your values, desires and overall style. FOR INSTANCE, I likely wouldn't hit up Lululemon for any sort of endorsement, because hey, I've tried the I'm-in-a-knot pose, and then I nearly passed out...not a good fit.

The Aparment clothes are really funky and colourful...they have an in-house design team...they take differing elements and combine them into solid works of art...I liked their uniqueness as well as the people behind the product.

The worst thing that anyone could say to you is no...
