Personnaly I would love to see more of this.
Get inspiration.
Record.
Release.

Even if it is only one or two songs. Waiting for or forcing a 10-12 song compilation before an artist releases songs to the fans seems horribly out of step with today's reality.

Whitfield began releasing songs online before their official CD Release party. This does a couple of things in my mind:
1. Tests the songs in the real world.
2. Build an audience for the eventual release of the CD.

Oh, and Dasha. I am looking forward to hearing those songs!
