Entertainment is my Passion not my Profession

Submitted by INTHEBLACK on Thu, 2006-06-15 12:38.

I love many facets of entertainment such as: Sporting events, music, movies and readings (books). I worked for about 5 years in the Sports Management industry working with collegiate athletes (primarily football) who were aspiring to make it in the NFL. I no longer delve into that area, but have found myself dabbling in other realms of the Entertainment Industry. I've been permitted to have a Nationally Published Book that can be purchased on Walmart.com, Buy.com, BarnesandNoble.com and others... the title of the book is "Love that Woman Fully" (A Transcript from a Man's Perspective). While also writing a screenplay for a movie that I plan on filming down the road; just shot a short for a Situational-Comedy submission for FX networks; and assisting in managing both a HOT Music Producer and artists.

On top of all of this, I have a full-time job that I must work to provide for my family because my GOD and my family are the most important elements to my entire existence!!! Money comes and goes, but we all must remember that life is short and ETERNITY if forever... where are we going to spend it? We ALL must answer this question knowingly and decisively. None of us, must lose sight that Fame is a "Fascade" - it is NOT real... it is nothing more than a mirage of what we think is real. We should give respect towards others and hope that the recipient is reciprocal with their intentions.

At some point and time, I will attempt to upload an artist or two who hail from surrounding states and Ohio so that everyone can hear what the Midwest is holding! Much success to all those who desire to have a legitimate job in this business called Entertainment, but never lose sight that "Celebrity" is just another name for "Common"; there's just a wealth of responsibility and everyday scrutiny that most would not be able to endure if given the opportunity. Many claim to want it, but don't grasp the reality is that there's nothing more important about them other than they sing, write, perform or play an instrument or a game for a living (NOTHING MORE)! Those as supporters (not Fans = fanatics), cannot continue to almost worship a so-called celebrity and fallout over an autograph, shaking their hand, taking a picture with them, etc. because as I've stated previous... they're just common folk with a little more notoriety and possibly more money in their pockets.

Everyone, remain righteous in your intent... serve and know who is GOD, His Son and His Holy Spirit are. Have a relationship and not Religion. Life is ugly without the reality of GOD... just seek and it shall be revealed unto you. Let Love, Wisdom and Right reign Supreme because the times are vascillating and eroding before our eyes, but Life with GOD is beyond your most glorious imaginations (w/o the intoxication and narcotic stimulants).

Remain InTheBlack financially but assist those who cannot assist themselves.
