Uberbelly, I agree. I am not really a fan of the genre either, but this takes it somewhere else. Maybe the hardcore hip hop artists won't appreciate it, but I find it way more interesting. The vocals and the beat work together in an amazing way - almost like they are the same instrument.

Oh, a new 'recently added song'! I immediately hit play. Then I notice "hip-hop, urban" (just not usually my bag), but... a rhythm with the voice catches my attention,... THEN I turn up the volume and I'm hooked. "Beneath the surface" "more than an emergency" Awesome vocal performance. This is more than just hiphop, this is something new, the bass and vocal jam is awesome.
