Catch & release

Hey all. First blog post here, as treehorse anyway... I'm the bassist in ARCTIC and maintain our website & most of our web presences, including Project Opus, so you may have encountered me there at some point.
I finally have enough songs of my own that I think are listenable enough to release out into the general realm. At this stage they're a sort of learning experiment to see what I can do on my own, and to figure out what I sound like. They're all written, produced and recorded by me, with the exception of "Here First" - Marcus Martin (of ARCTIC) did some of the production early on and basically enabled me to get started on all of this.
Occasionally I still think "ooh, I should change this" and "hmmm, I don't know about that now" when I listen to one of the songs. And who knows, maybe I'll go back and change the mixes over time. Music online is a lot more malleable than it used to be - you have the option to change releases in a way that you didn't when everything was CD-only. So I'm considering The Pace Changes to be a work in progress, an ongoing demo - I might replace a mix, change the track order, or add another song. (Or maybe I'll just leave it as it is! Time will tell.)
Anyways, hope you enjoy 'em.
