Song Description

I'll wait

How many times, will I write this for you
How many days, will I make this bed for you

How many times, do you think about me
How many clues, do you need to believe
How many lies must I take
and what kind of fool, can watch his own heart break?

I know that you see, all the things that are not me
I don't know why I hide, when you don't see me

It seems like, it was just yesterday
when you held my hand, and I slipped away
From that moment on I swore I'd be love, I'd be back
and you'd always be safe with me.

I'll wait.

Bonham & Jones.....  Bonham & Jones.....
Reviewed by Wade Mosher on October 25, 2006

Without those other 2 posers. This song has the punch of Led Zep bottom end, with the darkness & desperation of some of the early 80's post-punk bands. It's hard to get this kind of intensity without over the top guitar, but Uberbelly pulls it off. Great surprise ending, too, like a Hitchcock film!
