| Biography: | Chiwawa is Laurie Gordon and Krassy Halatchev. The duo's approach can be described as neo punk disco pop rock with elements of "that sounds familiar" (but it's not)- CHIWAWA are the real Eurotrash (or is that EuroThrash?) claiming refugee status moons ago - a Bulgarian Hungarian combo. CHIWAWA play bass, vox, guitars, synths and other eclectic instruments creating heavy grooves and luscious melodies. All the while, Laurie croons the crooner's tune. On stage, CHIWAWA electrify as two and sometimes multiply into four or more bodies dabbling with electronic knobs, a drum kit, or solo violin.
2006-2007 finds CHIWAWA busy creating soundtracks for film and television as well as in studio recording and remixing tracks for their next album "Bus Stop Chinese Buffet" set for release mid 2008, to be released with "Spare Change", Ryan Larkin's final animation film featuring the track "Do It For Me".
