| Biography: | Wade Mosher has made music his life since he was only 12 years old. He is known for his songwriting & guitar skills and he’s also a respected producer, singer & programmer. Starting in the early ‘80’s, Wade has toured Canada, the US & Europe playing in Rock, Country, Blues, Skiffle and Punk bands. In 1995, Wade Mosher released his debut, self-titled CD that received airplay in Canada, Turkey & Arkansas. Promoting the album & touring followed until 1997. Sales have reached over 3500 thus far, mostly from word of mouth. This record has been likened to John Hiatt, Steve Earle, Bruce Springsteen, Dire Straits, Warren Zevon and Lyle Lovett. Wade’s fans have been asking for recordings of his guitar playing for years, so in 2001 recording began for his next CD ‘Doesn’t Play Well With Others’. The instrumental record of 12 cuts was released in 2002. The record has gotten some great reviews & feedback. It’s been available online since 2006 and is selling well. Though Wade’s style is undeniable, nods to Danny Gatton, Brian Setzer, Mark Knopfler, Chopin, Brian May, Dick Dale & Scotty Moore can be heard throughout. As Wade humbly puts it, “I just take what those guys did, simplify the difficult parts & hope nobody notices.” In 2003 Wade disappeared into his studio to work on his latest album. A lot of life got in the way during the making of this much anticipated CD, but in 2007 ‘Everything Will Be Just Fine’ was released. It’s more of a collection of songs than a definitive album, moving seamlessly through genres without losing momentum. Songs like ‘Canadian Folk Song’ and ‘Hollywood is Burning’ are cutthroat takes on culture & politics with sardonic humor. Great stabs at love, religion and psychosis are found in ‘Love Makes You Stupid’ & ‘Lose This Skin’. ‘She’s Got A Heart’ & ‘Don’t Let The Highway Get You Lost’ are first class country songs that will take you back to the days of Merle Haggard & Steve Earle. This is a CD that will leave its mark.
Wade Mosher has never been convicted of murder, but the night is still young. Just A Personal NoteHi Folks- Wade here. Thanks for stopping by and having a listen. I appreciate your time, I know how limited it can be. There are a lot of songs here, so feel free to poke around & play snippets as you please. I’ve requested that they allow the prices of the songs to come down a bit here. We’ll see what happens. In the meantime I’ll be allowing free downloads randomly so keep an eye out. Some of the genres I’ve chosen can obviously cross over into others & it’s hard to categorize your own material, but I believe I’ve gotten close with my choices. If you hear something that turns your crank, feel free to contact me. I’m very friendly, (except early in the morning.) I’ll be keeping this section as up to date as I can. Thanks again. |

| Biography: | With life spinning out of control on tour in the UK as "The Ryecatchers," Danny and Mark decided it was time for a change… Returning to Vancouver, Danny bumped into an old flame, Shannon, and after a few drinks she decided she would rather be in a band than a relationship with him. Danny reluctantly agreed, phoned Mark, and formed Danny Echo in the fall of 2005! Since then the Vancouver music scene has embraced the incredible vibe of Danny Echos’ rock and rollio presence. “Half the audience knows the words better than I do,” Danny said at a recent Railway club show. And even if they don’t know the songs, audiences still get into the energy and sounds of Danny Echo. With influences drawing from the greats like The Rolling Stones, The Who, The Beatles, Radiohead, Oasis, and U2, Danny Echo reverberates with all that is melodic, all that is catchy, and all that is rock and roll. As Mark observed, "it's all that it should be, damn it!! In between rockin' out around Western Canada and playing around Vancouver, a 5 song EP has been recorded and is now available for download at dannyecho.com. The full length album is currently being written and arranged, and will be out in time for Christmas - but only if you behave yourselves, you spoiled little brats! |

| Biography: | 11 new originals from Heidi Vincent, a new indie project in the alternative pop vein. Happy Now is the anticipated debut release. It's the result of my life experiences, my love of writing and singing. It’s the result of 8 months of rehearsing and recording. It’s a result of the incredible and talented musicians in Vancouver that have indulged my vision and have become good friends in the process. We all came from different backgrounds, new wave, reggae, pop, punk even metal and this is what helped give the songs a flush feel and a positive result. There was only one way to record this album and that was to just do it. No talking, no second guessing and no re-visiting old material. The goal was to grow, experiment and put it down on tape, well ok, the drums were on tape and the rest was digital. We had already completed the pre-production with a month of jamming out the tunes at the Rockspace and by the time we got to the studio it all fell into place. Drums and Bass were recorded at John McLean’s studio The Factory (Marilyn Manson, Motley Crew, Billy Talent, Bon Jovi) in Vancouver, BC on the Neve 8048 62. I wanted to capture the warmth of tape for this part of the album, and we stayed as long as I could afford it. A lot of positive energy was generated in those sessions, when it came time to lay down the guitars we were more than excited. Lab Monkey Studio’s in Vancouver, just off Commercial Drive is owned and operated by the definitively venerable, Shawn Cole. And, although the studio is a beat up, slightly musty and hard to find, it was a significantly positive and a creative womb to us. This is where the album was fleshed out, through the fall and over the dark winter months we moved along in a natural progression. Guitars, overdubs, keys, vocals, harmonies, all the extras, tweaking everything along the way and even adding crazy things like horn section in few songs. You just find what it needs as you go along. Finishing co-incidentally as the spring arrived, a brand new year and brand new opportunities. I had recorded an album before, had my songs played on radio internationally. I’d showcased on television. I’d played live and supported bands such as Morning Maker, The Winks, Bocephus King, Craig Jacks, Simone Pope, Deluxe and had headlined shows at some of the best Vancouver venues. I’d done quite a bit for someone active for a mere 6 years. But, never with a full album that I was excited about or had even been able to get printed. That time is here with Happy Now. I love music. I love expressing myself through music. These songs are more sophisticated, they are the dirty-pretty sound that I have searched for, the ones rattling around in my empty head for a couple of years. Girly, defiant, murderous, tongue in cheek, the album articulates every emotion of my love and life. |

| Biography: | It’s been a “Short And Sweet” 12 years since three barnyard hooligans known as the MCRACKINS were hatched onto the international punk scene with the release of their official debut full-length album “What Came First?” on Shredder Records in the U.S.A. Although many were at first skeptical of Vancouver, Canada’s mysterious and strange looking pop-punk trio, the 1995 album turned out to be a surprise hit from an unknown band who claimed to have been transformed from men to 2 eggs and a dog and given super pop-punk powers as the result of a freak nuclear accident. Since then, twin eggs Bil (guitar, vocals), Fil (bass) and dog Spot (drums) have continued to amaze, astound and win over music critics and fans alike while building a cult-like following around the world due to the prolific release of 11 great full-length albums,E.P’s, singles, and compilation cd’s too numerous to mention. All told over 100,000 in sales worldwide. It is a well-known joke (or yolk if you will) that their discography reads like the rap sheet of a seasoned criminal, as they have had over 200 songs released by over 30 different record labels around the planet as approximately 70 separate releases. With sporadic touring throughout their native Canada and the U.S.A up until that point, 1996 saw the band take their hilarious and fun filled live show across the pond to Europe. Dubbed the “European Eggvasion”, the MCRACKINS destroyed 7 countries and even found time to record some live electric and acoustic sessions for the BBC. The years have also seen the band make a few music videos, which have received light to medium rotation on music channels in Canada, U.S.A and Europe, an appearance in a Molson Canadian beer television commercial, a cameo role in a feature motion picture “Downhill Willy”, and various television and radio features. Although the band has been taking somewhat of a much-needed break from the recording studio over the last few years, they have decided to get “Back To The Crack” with a vengeance. In true MCRACKINS fashion, the band have been hard at work in the studio since October 2004 and have just finished what they have self described as a world class bubblepunk masterpiece of epic proportions. With over 14 months and countless hours invested in this opus, it promises to not disappoint. Their 12th cd which will be called “Bat Out Of Shell”, will be released worldwide later this year by the fine folks at Wynona Records, Italy and will contain 12 new ear buzzin toons with enough hooks and harmonies to make even Brian Wilson smile. A full European tour will follow in Jan/Feb 2007 in support. So “Get Crackin” the MCRACKINS are back!!!!!!!!!! |

| Biography: | "The style is called Nouveau Flamenco and Langley acoustic When John Gilliat holds his acoustic guitar he holds technique and emotion in melodic balance and holds his audience in the palm of his hand. He didn't come by his gift overnight of course. The Canadian-born musician picked up the guitar when he was just 9 years old. By the time he had graduated from High School, he was ready to take the show on the road, touring across Canada and the United States with various pop groups playing venues such as Harrah's in Lake Tahoe and the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. After several years touring North America John took the time to formally study his art. He took private lessons with various teachers and later majored in jazz at Capilano College, where he received a scholarship and graduated with top honours. In the guitar, John had found his instrument but he was still searching for his muse. At age 26 he immersed himself in Flamenco guitar tradition, inspired by the teaching methods of Juan Martin and listening to the incredible sounds of Paco de Lucia, Paco Pena, Sabicas and many others. John spent the next 6 years studying Flamenco, practicing 8 to 10 hours a day. The effort would pay off and the accolades would follow. In 1995, John won "Best Acoustic Guitar Performance" in the Music West Star Frets Competition. He won Vancouver's Unplugged Competition in 1996 and, in 1997 he became a finalist in Vancouver's Global Star Quest. Like all great performers, John feeds off the energy of a live audience. The stage is where his heart soars and his music flows. As a 'guitar for hire', John would find his way onto the stage, performing for the Vancouver Playhouse, Michael Barabas, Radio Europe, Alyssa Nielsen, Gypsalero and opening for such notable artists as Cirque du Soleil, Mae Moore and acoustic guitar masters, Strunz and Farah. Practice makes perfect and passion makes magic. In May of 1999 John released his own independent instrumental CD titled "Freedom". A showcase for his considerable guitar talents, Freedom embraced world beat musical elements of flamenco, Latin and Jazz. Above all, Freedom was recorded with the hope to share the peace, joy and excitement John feels when performing for audiences around the globe. In 2002 John released his second CD called "Peace". Picking right up where Freedom left off, Peace forges further still down the path John has carved out for his music. Passionate and fiery flamenco guitars and beautiful melodies intertwine with exotic percussion, bass and drums. The 2002 West Coast Music Awards nominated Peace as "Best Instrumental Release - Non Classical". In 2003 John released his 3rd CD titled Christmas, A wonderful collection of holiday classics played on flamenco guitars, accompanied by bass and percussion. The corporate world has embraced John's music as well, through recent performances for prestigious clients like MasterCard, Pfizer Pharmaceuticals, Verizon, Lehman Brothers, Sun America. He's also had the distinction of playing for Canada's Head of State, Prime Minister, Jean Chretien. Over 14,000 copies of John's albums have been sold to date. John Gilliat continues to offer new direction and contemporary expression to Flamenco, Nouveau Flamenco and Flamenco Rumba, touring festivals and headlining concerts with his quartet (bass, 2 guitars, and percussion). He even finds time to perform regularly with Vancouver's hot gypsy jazz club quartet, "Gypsalero". Now following four successful Japanese tours, including the first-ever concert on an open-air train, performing live on NHK Radio along with various other Japanese radio and television programs and playing Expo 2005 in Aichi. John has released his latest CD in Japan and Canada titled "Beyond Boundaries". The new CD continues to offer new direction and contemporary expression to Nouveau Flamenco, Flamenco Rumba and Jazz. Included in Beyond Boundaries is a very special composition titled "Onishi", created from the beautiful images, sounds and excitement John experienced during his performances at Fujiyama Koen Park in Onishi, Japan. |
