Great harmonies

Like butter!

I guess their name had me expecting the Dixie Chicks. But this was very different. Less country schtick - these chix are lush.

sweet slide guitar

that awesome upwards slide lick off the top of tine totally grabbed me- great start! Lovely lyrics and harmonies follow.

I hear a lot of Indigo Girls in the songwriting and especially that combination of synchronized harmonies with some counterpoint action in the choruses. Very impressive picking and vocals.

But I must say I missed the searing slide guitar solo that the intro got me all worked up for.
