What began as a part-time summer outreach for The Cause's frontman and songwriter Lance Mishleau has now become a full-time music ministry that spans the globe. Before connecting with The 5000 Music Group to record the group's first full-length album, Lance had already journeyed across the globe, recently returning from a trek to Australia.
The candid and heartfelt lyrics that Lance skillfully paints across a variety of musical canvasses easily resonates with the listener's deepest emotions. Whether live or recorded, the eclectic sound one hears from The Cause will surely echo the bands motto: "Leading Youth to Lead the Church."
Like so much of The Cause's ministry, the band's name comes from the Bible, in this case a verse from 1 Timothy 2:5-7 (CWV) which reads, "As we all know, t..

Tonight the band had the honor of sharing the stage with another Lincoln band by the name of Remedy Drive who recently signed with Word Records.

I have been on summer tours before but 10 weeks has been quite the adventure! God is awesome and we love doing ministry for Him. Traveling with the guys, doing what we are called to by God with being a part of HIS ministry, playing music, meeting new people, hanging out at lakes, rivers, water parks, eating at a bunch of fun restaurants, playing ultimate frisbee, crazy cool people, sick photo shoots, crazy crocodile hunte ...
