The Opus Team is a group of musicians and fans - all somewhat geeky. We believe that:
- Digital Rights Management (DRM) hurts musicians and fans.
- Fans are integral contributors to the music ecosystem and not criminals.
- Artists need to be paid fairly and with full transparency when they sell their music, tickets, or merchandise.
- Our goal is to provide fans and bands with the music services they need.

David Gratton
Lead SingerHe plays the whistle. He isn't very good at it -- but you have to give the guy credit for trying.
Dave has been talking about making lots of changes in his life lately. He says he's done with being 'Cool' and wants to start being just plain "Trendy". He bought a new iPod phone the other day, started riding a scooter and started wearing leather bands around his arm that serve no function.
Jordan Willms
Lead GuitarJordan is the stinky member of Project Opus. He often says "I will not shower until this feature is complete". (And we all know how long overdue most tech projects go). He really stinks sometimes. One time we went a record 240 days without a shower.
As far as guitarists go, Jordan is below par -- but we are happy to have him in the band because he can play the guitar as good as David can play the whistle.
Kay Thody
KeyboardsKay and David often take turns fighting for creative control over the keyboard and synth section.
To be honest, Kay is a far better keyboard player (she has a 10th grade level training in piano) -- but Derek has better sunglasses and a piano key necktie.
Loren Davidson
PercussionIf Loren was in a Boy band he would be the cute and shy one. (Although just playing the part to hit on his groupies).
Loren has been in a long feud with Stephen Abbott since Stephen took his precious Piano tie.
