AdDM : An ordinary decent guy, likes: minimalism, radios, 9v batteries, senselessness, cigarettes, things that go up and down, sugar, no-budget films, beer, windows in general, doors in particular, pretty things, almost-pretty things, sitdowntragedy, amplifiers, mickey mouseshaped clouds, candles, sockets, cables, helicopters, supermarkets, trees, big cities, dusty old analog stuff, National Geographic Channel, squirrels with attitude and fishing.
Likes to make: a futile attempt at producing new sounds and music in a coherent way, clutching at straws of coolness, celibrating the new cliche, delibrately rattlin' the emotional chain, creating uhm... something.

The story of AdDM:

"PCM consumer audio recording began in June of 1978 with the introduction of the PCM-1 14-bit Betamax accessory for recording and playback of digital audio with an 80db dynamic range. One month later AdDM was born. Not soon after that the digital revolution hit the globe.

Influenced by musicians such as sonik youth and glenn branca, AdDM started experimenting with tonality and songwriting at the age of 14. All songs where recorded on consumer casetteplayers with built-in microphone.

7 Years later AdDM bought a harddiskrecording-system to
be able to record better demo's. By accident he discovered his skills in electronic music, and decided to try his hand at electronics for a few years, always, in the back of his mind, wanting to return to the music that started it all.

AdDM's debut was an mp3-release called "Six feet down to earth", a selection of sketches where he experimented by various compression-techniques
In 2004, Preocupado saw the light, and all was full circle again.

AdDM's studio, apart from some expensive hi-end recording-gear, could be described as stuck in time in 1982. 85% of AdDM's gear is as old or older than AdDM. Which is exactly the way he likes it. AdDM doesnt own an ipod. AdDM doesn't like hi-tech. AdDM likes cables and knobs."
