"Always move forward!" That's Am dBang's mantra. After studying philosophy, eastern religions and finally discovering the power of nature, this producer/dj, has discovered the importance and elegance that the properties of sound embody. "The frequencies that surround us and move us are truly the building blocks of flow that form our next steps in evolution." Am has spent years enjoying the club scenes in Vancouver, Halifax, Toronto, Spain and most recently Miami. "When my perception got keener and I could feel the diverse ideas that electronic music offered I was hooked. That was in 2002. I got my first turntables and that's when my life became filled with purpose. Curiosity led me to producing tracks and then the djing part made more sense. The elements became my friends and the focus got stronger."

Am's focus right now is on the funky side of techno. "I love all the glitchy, metallic sounds that programs like Reason 4 have to offer. Adding a little soul to the machine sounds is almost like creating new sci-fi life forms. It's so satisfying." Each new experience helps move us forward and that's what Am dBang is here to do.
