John Glassey AKA DJ Tribe has been hiding in the shadows of the house scene for 13 years. Growing up in Orangville, Ontario John attended many parties in the early 90’s. This is when he fell in love with djing and house music. John eagarly got his hands on his first record in 1995 and there was no looking back. His passion for house music and ability to read a crowd has really started to grab a magnitude of positive attention not only in Toronto, but internationally. John has played venues like the the legendary Kool Haus for over a thousand people. Tribe has also flawlessly mixed amazing sets infront of hundreds of fans for Toronto’s gay pride celebration where he has dropped two 18 hour sets. Dj Tribe made his mark playing at over 20 lounges and Clubs and bars downtown Toronto and throughout the GTA including 606 lounge, Lickwid, Spa Lounge,Kashmere,Tantric,Touch,Tonic,Beba,Monsoon,The Looking Glass,Lavida The Red Lounge,Plazma Lounge,Film ,TOI Bar,Stone Lounge,Opium,Lounge , arthurs Lounge . John recently visited eastern Europe where he spun alongside international susperstar John Acquaviva at Club Escape in Slovenia. John also played to fans in Zegrab, Croatia at the Boogaloo Night Club. Next was Croatian Radio where he spun live during prime time on 101.5 fm. Dj Tribe’s music collection and programming ability, not to mention his passion for his art, will take him far in this business. John has also started to produce.
