Biography From Grandpa I got my storytelling. His visits were rare, as he and grandma lived in St. Catherines Ontario, and we lived just outside Calgary, Alberta. They spoiled all 8 of us children (according to my dad) but the biggest gift Grandpa always gave us was to tell us bedtime stories of the “olden days”. Grandpa’s stories usually involved exciting stuff like runaway teams of horses, shooting at wolves, or somebody getting body parts torn off. His tales were filled with gestures and sound effects. He really had a way of bringing them to life. And he listened when a kid told him a story. He made you feel your stories were important. From Mom and Dad I got music. Sunday Night In Vancouver

It's Sunday Night Again!
I'm sitting in my flat on the 25th floor of our building in the West End of Vancouver, at the beginning of what looks like a pretty good storm. We noticed all our hanging things (like lamps and wind chimes) were gently swaying to and fro as the building moves. It is an eery feeling the first time you feel it.

I'm going out to play tonight at Darby's Pub over on West 4th in Vancouver. A nice pub where the bar tender, and the waitresses, along with the patrons get on stage a do their thing. It's always a great audience of attentive music lovers, so it's a pleasure to perform there.

Hi Everyone and Anyone,
I have moved to a flat in Vancouver's West End. A complete change from the beach house in Roberts Creek where I spent the last 4 years. It was a very productive period for my song writing and my wife Susan's paintings. We both produced a great body of work, but we wanted more opportunity to show and perform. Hence, our move to the city. I am now with a brand new indie label (Emerald Ridge Records) who really get the songs I'm now writing, and I'm looking forward to performing them here in Vancouver and around the world.
