Out of the ashes of the renowned Las Vegas band, GOD AMONG MEN, comes a unique breed of rock band. Shortly after receiving two awards from LAS VEGAS WEEKLY and becoming a Jagermeister sponsored band, GAM found Los Angeles based management and signed a Demo Deal with John Kolodner of Columbia Records. Months of negotiations ensued but due to conflicting artistic visions the group decided not to ink the deal, and pursued other projects. Soon after, Liz began writing new material with former GOD AMONG MEN guitarist Blair, and they began the search for new band members.

After several months the two met Mackenzie, former drummer of the short-lived but powerful L.A. band DEVILLE. The band included former members of Roadrunner Records band DOWNER, and made quite an impact on the L.A. scene before parting ways. Mackenzie is also known in Los Angeles for his acting resume, guest starring in numerous high profile dramas such as NYPD Blue, The Practice, The Shield, CSI, Charmed, Freaks and Geeks, City of Angels and Chicago Hope to name a few, as well as various sitcoms including Malcolm in the Middle, Three Sisters, The King of Queens and Action, and multi episode stints on Days of Our Lives and General Hospital. He also recently held leads in two feature films, The Affair and Ancient Warriors, both online and in stores now.

The search for the perfect bassist lasted for months after the initial birth of the new band. The group eventually met Jesus, who miraculously appeared from Detroit. Jesus immediately fit the bill, and the band quickly finished writing an album's worth. The new membership proved solid and inspirational, pushing each member to new creative heights.

33DEGREE may have a vocalist and guitar player in common with G.A.M., but that is where the similarities end. Adding another level of complexity and a decided sense of style to their presentation, "33DEGREE possess a magnetic stage presence bursting with intensity. Between Liz's introspective lyrics, Blair's tasty and often chaotic sounds, Jesus' deep-rooted melodies and Mackenzie's powerfully convulsive tribal beats, they stylistically combine to defy common definition." Their debut material is not metal, not emo, but rather a mix of influences that range from Deftones to Tori Amos to Radiohead, blending odd time signatures, melodic vocals and driving grooves.
