heidivincent's Biography

11 new originals from Heidi Vincent, a new indie project in the alternative pop vein. Happy Now is the anticipated debut release. It's the result of my life experiences, my love of writing and singing. It’s the result of 8 months of rehearsing and recording. It’s a result of the incredible and talented musicians in Vancouver that have indulged my vision and have become good friends in the process. We all came from different backgrounds, new wave, reggae, pop, punk even metal and this is what helped give the songs a flush feel and a positive result.

There was only one way to record this album and that was to just do it. No talking, no second guessing and no re-visiting old material. The goal was to grow, experiment and put it down on tape, well ok, the drums were on tape and the r..

Vincent Newsletter - Edition 15 Cease and Desist ordered for Vincent

Hello Everyone!

"Vincent" is now in the process of becoming Heidi Vincent. I have been advised to cease and desist using the name Vincent for my project as there is a New York artist with the same name including a registration of trademark back to 1995.

Heidi Vincent is my name anyway which many of you know and I currently have a site www.heidivincent.com which is being designed along with the NEW! album artwork for Happy Now to be redistributed to the current stores, radio and more. This has been unfortunate, a huge pain in the ,,, and costly but that is how it goes. On a positive spin? ,,, I'm attracting attention,,Smiling

Vincent Newsletter - Edition 14 90.5 The Edge in Concord CA adds us!

Well March is in like a lion (btw - check out “The February March” myspace band- they are pretty cool) Catchy name too.

The newest is that vincentrocks.com has been vamped up a little and it looks great! Check out the "Store" page. Pretty cool. We're still working on the "Visuals" page we’re taking the updates over to Myspace and Project Opus who desperately need a little loving.

My thanks you's today go to Pär from Listerby Blekinge - SE and Thorbjörn from Ronneby - SE. How cool to think Vincent has traveled all the way to Sweden!
