For now, let's just say my name is Shery. I write songs, I sing, I FEEL.

My music career is just beginning. I'm from Guatemala, land of lakes, magical volcanoes, Mayan pyramids and home of a giant named Ricardo Arjona.

Just in case you are curious, I was born an August 18, under the sign of Leo. I'm crazy for Mexican tacos, Guatemalan regional food (frijolitos, chuchitos, rellenitos, tamales, atol de elote!!), and I love my tiny, fierce dog, Ponkis. It's a tiny Silky Terrier, but I suspect she believes she is the incarnation of Big Bad Wolf...

And now (at last!), after two and a half years of struggle, working harder than the Atomic Ant, my debut album is ready. Title is 'El Amor es un Fantasma' ("Love is a Ghost"), a name taken from my first single, a song about the pervasiveness, the immortality of a love that refuses to die.

It comes loaded with feelings, featuring a total of 13 songs (unless you curious enough to conclude otherwise...), all written by me, except two guest tracks: my very own version of "El Amor", the universally beloved song by Jose Luis Perales, the great romantic Maestro from Spain, and "Continuamente", a magical duet written by my brilliant Italian friend Francesco Sondelli, with whom I also co-wrote "El Suspiro Se Me Va".
