Holiday tunes!

Submitted by Mandy on Tue, 2006-11-28 16:24.

So with the recent dump of snow in Vancouver, (it looks absolutely BEAUTIFUL!) I am now in the festive, holiday spirits. I bought eggnog, dragged out the indoor and outdoor Christmas lights, put up my wreaths and greenery. Next weekend will be the tree and there's even talk of mulled wine.

It was always a coup to be the first one to find the hot new bar, the latest, greatest up and comer. Live music was everywhere. And somehow, maybe because it was a foreign place, it was easier for me to approach those musicians and strike up a conversation.
