rotcod's Biography

I started out playing music (a long, LONG time ago) on church pianos... my dad (who was the preacher) quite strongly objected to boogie riffs on the church pianos, so I had to quit for a while.

It was 1980 before I got into performance art, & by that time I'd recorded a lot of my own music & other folks. Since that "re-start", I've done about 65 albums with various players around the world.

We hope you enjoy our music. It's different, to be sure, but diversity IS what makes the world go 'round!

The "state of the music"

Submitted by rotcod on Mon, 2008-01-21 11:58.

I've been doing home-recording since about 1980. Over the ensuing years, I've migrated all the way from tape to digital. It's really nice to be able to put up high-quality music (now), without the hassle we encountered in the early years.

If you want to read more about the whole home-taper scene, I suggest Bryan Baker's INDIEONESTOP http://indieonestop.com/jamroom/ Bryan has been doing various support ops for INDIE players for a VERY long time, and INDIEONESTOP is his premier effort. I've got tunes there, of course, & a few CD's for sale; you can visit my page at http://indieonestop.com/jamroom/bands/647/ There are plenty of free .MP3 files there as well, though I hope you'll consider purchasing a CD or so...
